Looking at a 05 wide glide with 10k miles on it ... before I pull the trigger any input on that year? Also wondering if I could change the triple clamps to give me a little more rake in the front Or any suggestions on how to get a Little more front end rake
thanks

Hawg Halters has a great front end for the 05, I have their 2 degree over billet trees with 2" over tubes and really enjoy it.
I have 117,000 on my 05, just had the 95 ci long installed last year at 110,000 miles, bought the bike brand new.
Let me know anything else you would like to know.

thank you for the info if you could share A pic of your bike with it installed that would be great
bike looks great.... thats exactly the angle Im looking for ... not to much not to little.....did you get the whole front end forks and all? Or just triple clamps?
Sorry it has taken so long to respond. CORRECTION, my trees are 4 degrees over stock to make it 36 total
I bought the trees from hawg halters and then 2" extended tubes online and can't find the details, other than that all stock up front. Well except for the bars, lights, controls....
Probably not representative of your goals but I have +2 degree trees and (I think!) -2" length WG tubes on my 99 Wide Glide. The front end is a combination of 49mm ('06+) WG trees and Fat Bob sliders. I assume the tubes are also from the DF but never tried to confirm that since it just happened to sit perfect as I received it. Bought complete, used and poorly described, on eBay.
