Default 2007 dyna wide glide

I was thinking of selling my 200y dyna wide glide...recently had to replace cobra long shots, tansmission bearing, shifter seal. Has new rear tire.
the only thing wrong is slight oil leak from rocker box seal
might leak a drop or 2 overnight, nothing serious.
can I sell it with the rocker box like that, or must I fix it,

You can sell it however you want. If you want to get more for it I would fix any issues. I’m sure it wouldn’t be a deal breaker but it will decrease value. We’re talking hundreds not thousands.

The fewer things a buyer has to guess at, the better the chances of selling it. First you said about the leak that's the only thing wrong with it, now you say it has many problems.
Bear in mind it's a buyer's market and there's tons of low mileage garage queens for sale, so make sure yours looks as good a deal as possible.

Yup. I was certainly replying to the only thing wrong was the leak.

I dunno man. If I’m buying a bike that has an easy to fix oil leak I begin to wonder how much other stuff he “ just did t want/feel like fixing “. Something as simple as retorquing The rocker box fasteners or swapping a seal? That’s small stuff but shows a lack of respect for the bike, imo only. Things like grimed up road dirt, bald tires, simple to fix oil leaks, lose bolts etc. I’d look somewhere else and not even discuss prices unless it was a seriously desirable bike or maybe knew the guy selling it. Just shows a lack of good consistent maintenance.

My response was based on his fixing issues and the only issue left was the leak. I don’t disagree with you’re statement. If I was looking at the bike and the price was right and it had the leak I would offer less certainly not a deal breaker. However if I looked at it and it showed neglect and or abuse I would reconsider asking price and my offer. So many variables with selling and buying a used ride.
