jackyl, they came right from harley- the ones i got, at least- they came sealed in a harley bag, each with with part numbers corresponding to left and right emblem, as they are molded (curved) to fit the tank.... i said they were the same ones as the ones on the ebay link above, because they looked virtually identical... but the ones i have are slightly different and are indeed, actual harley emblems

these are the ones i bought:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HARLE...spagenameZWDVW

yes those ones are diffrent then the other ones. please post some pics of them on your bike. i would like to see it. jackyl

Friggen Bingo
Those are the ones I got. Thought they were plastic , untill I tryed to bend them. There pre-bent and will fit just right. Got them off e-bay for $25.00. At First I was a bit taken back, because they were NOT in a HD sealed Bag. But They look just the same.
I do like them better than the 07 Name plate
Pics when I get them on

OK I did it and I'm Friggen Glad so there.
Real bitch gettig off the [ metal] red and chrome Name plates, used heat and 3M adhesive remover. BUT be carefull not to pull them off [ rock] in anyone direction as it will leave a small mark in the paint.
