jackyl, they came right from harley- the ones i got, at least- they came sealed in a harley bag, each with with part numbers corresponding to left and right emblem, as they are molded (curved) to fit the tank.... i said they were the same ones as the ones on the ebay link above, because they looked virtually identical... but the ones i have are slightly different and are indeed, actual harley emblems

Those are the ones I got. Thought they were plastic , untill I tryed to bend them.There pre-bent and will fit just right. Got them off e-bay for $25.00. At First I was a bit taken back, because they were NOT in a HD sealed Bag. But They look just the same.

The ones that fit the old springer fat bob are the cool ones they had a chrome edge then black with chrone Harley and Gold Motor then chrome Davidson.. There still Aval. I'll see if I can find the number..
i just installed the black and silver bar and shield tank emblems on my '07 bob, and i gotta tell yah, they look fantastic!!! WWWAYYYYY better than the brushed script ones!... i'm very happy, and very pleased....took a little time, because i'm so damn **** about stuff... just used a bunch of reference points on the tank and such to get them they way i wanted!...came out pretty damn good, i think... i'm gonna post pics, tomorrow....so stay tuned, if anyone's interested

Real bitch gettig off the [ metal] red and chrome Name plates, used heat and 3M adhesive remover. BUT be carefull not to pull them off [ rock] in anyone direction as it will leave a small mark in the paint.
