squeaking fat bob
I have a 2009 Fat Bob----runs fine. With the engine loaded going down the road, it has a squeak, sounds like from the front motor mount area. If you roll off the throttle and pull in the clutch---the squeak goes away. My thought is loaded the mount is creating this squeak and unloaded it goes away. Anyone have this issue. Bike only has 25,000 miles. I appreciate your comments.

Spray and talcum are just temp fixes but will help you pinpoint it.

First thanks for the replies. I lifted the tank and checked under it. Nothing there. I checked the top mount bracket where it attached to the front and aft heads. The rear one was "not tight". I wasn't loose but I tightened it a turn or turn/half. Checked the other mount bolts as well. All got cinched up a little. The tank bolts were not bottoming out in the acorn nuts, and so I put those back, and tightened them. I don't know which fixed it but my squeaky Fat Bob no longer squeaks.
