Just finished a 400km highway ride the other day with my new one. Worth every penny, the vertical area isn't as padded as the rest so if you're pressed up against it while riding you'll start to feel it after a few hours. Around town its a non issue though

I have a whiplash seat in a step up style, done several 1000+ mile rides in it and its been plenty comfortable.

I've got the Lucky Dave's seat on mine. Very comfortable on longer rides, and the step up keeps me from sliding off the back and gives my lower back a little support. However, my wife refuses to ride on the back citing it as too narrow, so keep that in mind if 2up is your thing.

I have the LePera Kickflip on my Dyna, LOVE it...great lumbar support, super comfortable. The same can be said for the Mustang Fastback on my FXR. I've had this seat on my previous Dynas' as well but the fastback for the FXR has a much more pronounced step up that provides a lot of support. I don't run any other style of seat. I don't do much 2 up riding so I'm not overly concerned about the passenger pads.
