Default I知 insane. Just ordered another Red Thunder...

A few years ago, when I had a little less hearing loss, I bought a used Red Thunder exhaust for my 2016 LRS and promptly sold it, as it was too loud for me. Well, add 4 years, lots of wind noise and gunfire, and apparently some hearing loss since I had a D&D fat cat on a Softail, One of the loudest pipes out there, and it didn稚 bother me!

So while I really like my FuelMoto E-Series pipe, the sound wasn稚 the best, and I致e been looking at Thunderheaders. But knowing they start to degrade the minute they hit air, I was hesitant. Then yesterday I noticed FuelMoto is now the exclusive US distributor of Red Thunder pipes. So after talking to Jamie (and learning they wouldn稚 be included in his Black Friday sale) I decided to go for it.

For those who don稚 know the story, supposedly a particular angelic 1% group funded an exhaust company in Italy to build a thunderheader copy out of ceramic coated stainless, with a removable insert to pass EU sound regs. And the Red Thunder was born. From my short experience with it, it looks, sounds and performed like the real thing. And won稚 turn to rust in two weeks.

So I expect to have it in about 3 weeks. Looking forward to it! I値l post photos and a video once installed.

Sounds good..... I have a chrome thunderheader one on of my dyna's and another on a sportster Ive had since 2000, Both are chrome and they hold up as well as any other chrome pipe. The black on the other hand cannot take the salt air here in Florida. I just put a TBR on my new street bob tonight and I'm loving the sound and the performance.... pulls hard through the gears. Did you pull the insert on yours or leave it?

They were Italian back in 2016. Now lt looks like they are based in Monaco. Maybe Monaco has better design infringement laws...
