not sure if this will help but put a toggle switch on the power and cut it off after you ride, I have a drain issue on a keyless ignition that kills my battery after a few days, But since the toggle switch was installed I think a week anf a half has went by with no start up due to weather and fired right up..
I realize there may be frame changes between an 05 and an 07 but the ground from the battery to frame is a stud on the frame under the seat and the cable to the starter stud (still black) is the positive battery cable. I don't know the logic used by HD to keep a battery positive as black and not red, I suppose the red rubber boot on the batt. stud is to remind you it's positive. The green wire is going back to the starter relay. I suppose the starter is grounded to the frame when it's bolted up to the primary case. Many years ago the cable to the battery failed inside the cable, the strands inside the insulation corroded and broke in the lug/terminal.
Man you can always move the ground wire to another point on the bike....
With a new battery you'd have to have something pulling a drain? Do you have an accessory switch? Anything connected to it?
I don't have F/I so is the power commander a must?
Try unplugging it
I haven’t had time to locate the ground wire- to clean and wire brush the connections.....However the bike started right up this afternoon - 60 degrees outside .
I should probably stay out of this since the OP hasn't answered any of my questions, but, there is some indication that he doesn't have an issue with cranking, which would pretty much eliminate the battery and starter and ground cables as well as parasitic drain and state of charge as the cause of his problem.
