I have Vance and Hines slash cut slip ons on my 09 Lowrider . Im thinking of getting the competition baffles or taking the baffles out and installing DK Customs thunder torque inserts . Anyone tried either one with the slip ons ?

What are you trying to accomplish? Louder quieter or more power? I couldn't tell a damn bit of difference with the thunder torque inserts and they took way more time than just installing slip ons.

If you want loud and deep, I have a set of Freedom Independence Shortys in black that would fit that bill perfectly. I'd let them go for $150 plus shipping, if you're interested, since I need to get them out of my garage (I installed V&H 2-1 Pro pipe instead, but think the Freedoms have a better sound, and the same performance).

I had those same slip-ons on my '17 FXDB with the competition baffle and they are LOUD! I don't think I'd describe any V&H pipe as deep though. I really liked the sound but went to a Thunderheader instead...I still think the Thunderheader is quite.

I have the twin slash slip ons, no baffles and DK inserts. Bike is loud without the baffles. DK inserts gave me back the low end torque I lost. Still loud. Been running this setup for 6 or 7 years, maybe longer.
Purchased the Supertrapp Supermeg exhaust from FuelMoto last month and will be installing that sometime this winter.
