Hey everyone hope your 2021 as been good so far. Ive got a 2016 FXDL, I wired up some front turn signal (LED) and installed a rear tail light with built in turn signals. My main issue as of now Is the blinkers work front and back but the rears are always on (solid). when I press the blinkers the rears work accordingly as the hazzards do but they are always solid if they arent blinking. I added a badlands load equalizer thinking that could be the issue and no fix. I also still have hyper flash which makes the think the equalizer isnt working anyway.
I tried looking for my bikes wiring diagram but havent been able to find it, does anyone know what else I can check or if these newer dynas have a rear running light wire for the blinkers I can remove? Thanks everyone and ride safe!
, But ive tried to others and they have all done this, unfortunately i dont have the oem blinkers to test on. The connector under the seat has a few small wires that connect different pins together. I was thinking maybe someone did this make the rear signals also function as running lights? Heres some picks
