'10 Deluxe Super Glide Question.
First of all, I know nothing about this type of bike. Is it a glorified Sportster on steroids or?
My neighbor has a '10 sitting in his garage for about 5+ yrs and so I asked if he would sell it.
He said low miles.
So I was wondering if this year bike had any problems w/the tranny OR that I might need to know about.
Also for sitting so long: How are the fuel pumps on these bikes if FI?
Any information would be helpful as well as maybe a ballpark price.

Looks like asking prices range from 6-10k on cycletrader depending on condition and mileage. If its been sitting for 5 years plan on a new battery, cleaning the fuel system, replacing tires, 3 hole oil change, and brake fluid at minimum. If it were me Id offer 1-2k less than what its worth in good running condition and have a nice project to keep me out of trouble for a little while. As far as possible issues the only one Ive heard of on the 2010s was the compensator sprocket which would be less than $500 and a Saturday afternoon to fix. I would ask him why he parked it?

It's hard to find them in nice original condition. So many of them have been molested. I know that most the people here like high bars, engine mods, pipes... But for me I'd rather have a stock bike. The fact that this appears to be stock would be a huge plus for me.
