I was thinking more along the lines of a rubber strip. Almost like the spline for a window screen.

This is the answer from the site I ordered it from : “Verified with my boss, the pulley is correct that's how they are supposed to be,


The "Belt tracks towards the outside"

Once again l appreciate everyone’s help with the matter.

REW13 I think you have the best answer.

To forge the teeth or machine into a tight corner would be difficult.

The teeth could be machined into one corner easy if a separate side plate was used.

I believe the manufacturer uses a single part for several belt width's and shrink fits the appropriate side plate on.

I also believe the answer from guys boss is Lame and I also would be asking to return.
