98” plus 8.5 cc pistons s&s 570 ez start cams Arlen Ness monster sucker Bassani road rage two mega power exhaust se cam plate kit powerVision tuner stock injectors throttlebody will be upgrading throttlebody soon
Correct me if I'm wrong but I got you at 10.83:1 static (could even be higher cuz I got the pistons at .005" in the hole and a .030" head gasket) which puts that 570 cam right around 210 CCP. If my numbers are correct that might be a little bit too much for that 570 cam 40* IVC... Tuning might prove to be a little difficult, especially in California with high temperatures... And you will definitely need compression releases.. just saying..
Congrats on the new bits; slap that thing together and she'll run like a scalded dog! Good luck on getting it finished and can't wait to hear how you love it

I believe corrected.comp will be around 10.1 -10.09-1 the cams will be easy start so no need for comp releases
I had some help picking the cam from a well know builder

thanks man it will be about a week or two I’m waiting on a few parts to come in but will update
That's terrible work. Your heads when ported should be like B2 heads when finished:
See the raised intake port?
Your exhaust should have 4 bolts holding it.
The chamber should be modified into a modern figure 8 shape.
That's a ture porting job!
Dave
I don't believe that those heads are stage 1 or stage 2.. hell might not even be stage 3... That's extensive work... And not only that the guy is installing a 570 cam that is more about torque especially in the low end... You don't want an over exhausted head to compromise the low end... Come on man..... And don't mislead the guy.... And one more thing Changing the configuration of the combustion chamber is not Porting... Opening the ports (intake and Exhaust) is porting.............
