My 00 WG has and had a quick release windshield when I bought it a few years ago?? I thought they where always avaliable?

Yeah, but doesn't it leave hardware behind on your forks?

I have gotten one in the mail since I bought my bike in '05... for free. Before I bought the bike, I just asked for one from the parts guy at my local dealer. In most cases, they are free.
Zanotti is one of the discount places you can by from, there are a few others

i am pretty sure chicago hd is the site. the guy was talking about everything being 20% off and that is what they are offering right now
