Default Stator Cooked
Had a small leak where the stator wires came out of the primary. Took the derby cover off to check the oil and it smelled like burnt wires. Looked closer at the wires coming out of primary and they are partially melted. Didnt do anything else because my Lowrider has the esp. Called the dealer for an appointment to get it serviced and he said they dont have stator or rotor in stock . Might be awhile before i ride again...

He said he was going to order the parts but had no idea when they would be there. Seems like a common problem parts seem to be hard to get right now.

What year and model do you have? Can't you have an Indy fix it? I needed a new stator in '19 and I am happy with the Cycle Electric.

Well i could fix it myself have before on other bikes . When i bought the bike it came with a warranty so I would rather go that way if possible .
