05 dyna engine light on
My engine light comes on for about 3-5 secs. after I start up the bike and then goes out . Bike has 7600 miles on it , had 5k service done on it, no prob's then. Bike does not show any signs of trouble when riding. Any help would be helpfull . Thanks in advance.

I think that's the oil pressure light?
It might come on for a few secs until oil pressure builds up. I think the "turn off" trigger is X amount of pressure at 1k rpm.

you need to go to the post----check engine light stays on too long?----it helped me,,,its the check engine light ,you have to do the diagnostics code check,,dealership will not help you on this issue,i know,,it was posted by---md188322 ,,replied by rigid rider 57,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hope this helps you,it did me....
