Is there a company that produces quality FXDLS reproduction wheels? I just started thinking about switching out the spoked rims on my FXDB and there are so many to choose from it makes my head spin. I like the simple 10 spokes on the '17 FXDLS, not necessarily in gold or bronze or whatever it is, maybe black?
Not that I am aware of. I've seen some black ones on ebay but I think they are wheel exchange only, meaning you have to send your matching wheels and they send you the black ones. I've considered it for my regular FXDL but I prefer the black with polished lip/spokes. I just wish harley could figure out how to clear the polished part to prevent corrosion

I’ve been contemplating the same thing - swapping the spoked wheels on my 2010 FXDB for the Lowrider S wheels. I’m finding it cheaper to just order the factory OEM wheels from Harley than buying a used set on eBay or Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist... maybe another member can chime in with a helpful tip on where to buy the LRS mag wheels for less than $850 for the set?
I didn't think of just buying them from HD. Looks like Surdyke has them. Does anyone know if the fitment would line up with my FXDB? I am converting to dual discs this winter, would everything still line up with these rims?
Front 43300449 $428.68
Rear 40900466 $428.68
Probably have to have them powdered though, I don't know if I want to look like I'm trying to fake my FXDB as an FXDLS.
Just FYI - I would NOT order from Surdyke - they confirmed the wheels are on backorder a few days ago, and no potential shipping time in sight. Also, Surdyke has a pretty checkered history of taking forever to ship orders (and that was before the pandemic junk).
^^^^ agreed, Surdyke is ok sometimes but usually higher prices. I would try New Castle or Ronnies first but if it's on back order with the MoCo then you will still be waiting unless someone has one waiting on the shelf.
@jac737 I'm one of those guys that have never had an issue with Surdyke, as a matter of fact, I order all my parts from them even during the "pandemic". TBH, it's going to be a while before I can afford nearly 1k in rims anyhow.
Just a FYI, they are the same wheels as on 2014-2017 Low Rider (no S) just not painted. So if you are not married to gold, you may find the standard versions cheaper.

I appreciate that tip...looked 'em up and they're actually more expensive though, by about 10 and 20 bucks...go figure.
