Hi all. Running an 06 FXDLI and I plan to move the coil to where the horn was. I cant find specs on the stock plug wires anywhere (unless I’m searching for the wrong thing). I’d like to buy the more made so I don’t have to crimp anything. There is a set of 10mm screaming eagle wires on the HD site that are (31967-08A or 31939-99C) what I’m
looking for but HD says it doesn’t fit my bike. I wonder if that is because both wires appear to be the same size which is not the same as the stock wires. Have been through parts book, service manual and the forum. Any advice or referral is appreciated. Just want even length, prefer red and pre made. Thanks.
We did this on my kid's Sportster. Used two of shorter length. We used NGK plug caps that screw onto the end of the cut wire. (No crimp). You'll want the terminal nut style. Stock wires are 8mm I believe. Performance wires are probably 10mm.
