Ign. switch broke?

Ign. switch broke?
Turned my ign switch off and the key did not want to come out of switch? I tried to turn bike on and nothing , no fork lock, no indicator lites. Dealer has the bike and said the switch broke and it will be 7-10 days before he can get replacement Switch, no sooner. Has this happened to anyone else?

The key switch on my Bob has been stiff, and questionable since about a month after i got it. Its been about a year now and it hasnt failed yet, but you never know...

yup. mine shorted out on my 06 spuper glide. It was starting to bind up a little before it did that also. See if they'll replace it before ya get stranded. Oh, and it took 10 days for me to get my bike back.

This happened to me . My switch started to give me signs first . It was a little loose and would jam up. If i wiggled it , it would end up turning . Then i went and showed it to the dealer it took 10 days to come in . And i kept my bike You should aggresivly try to turn it back and forth it will probably work. The dealer told me that they had these problems with a lot of the 06 bikes but mostly the baggers
