Default Jack question

I just ordered the Harley jack adapters for the Dyna. My question is what jacks will these work with?

Subbed. I’ve had my Dyna on the jack a half dozen times or so and it’s always a terrifying experience.
There is no good way to jack it up.

It's my understanding that the jack adapters snap onto the frame, so any two arm motorcycle jack should work just fine. They're not jack specific

I have the craftsman red jack. Apparently it's not available or made anymore but there are similar ones out there.

If we are talking about the rubber orange things that snap onto the frame, then they work ok. I have a set. You will need to cut them to size and you still need to be careful using the jack. Not the most stable setup but it works.

There is a long running thread on modifying the Sears/Craftsman red jack so you don't need the lift adapters for Dyna's. Easy mod and works well.

Maybe the mod works on other Jacks?

I have a J&S jack and use it in my 97 WG - no jack adapters needed.

As I've gotten older, I've subscribed to the "Pay Once, Cry Once" phrase.

I have 2 different roll under 2 arm jacks. One is an ATD, and one was a used one someone gave me but I'm not sure who the manufacturer is. Both work just fine with the frame blocks.

Here's how I modified my Harbor Freight jack. Cut out the bar connecting the two sides and then used grade 8 bolts. It doesn't require adapters and it's quite stable. I can climb up and sit on my dyna while it's jacked up with no problem.

Good idea, I might go this route with mine.
