Default Dyna Cyl Swap?

Will the cylinders, pistons, etc. from an 07 96" Dyna bolt onto an 06 88" w/o mods? Will the 06 heads fit the 07 barrels? I appreciate any comments as to the practicality of that swap too. Thanks, OLDED

The latest issue of American Iron lists what is different from the 88 and the 96. The increase in cubic inches is from the additional 3/8" of stroke. If I understand the artical correctly the jugs are the same for the 88 and 96. The pistons are not the same as the 96 locates the pin higher in the piston.

I dont know if this helps. I found the article very informative and interesting.

Bought jugs off a 06 88cu model and put them on my 07 96cu model. The only difference is the stroke. If you git that far why not do a 103 indy build. and change the cams and have yer heads PP.
