In Easy Rider Mag under the National Law Chart says that for Arizona it is maximum of 15' above the seat. May be able to fight it.

Hound, Hold on !! , before you rush intochanging the barstake a moment to think this thing through... I know the law is the law BUT you say you have had them on since April and you are only NOW getting your 1st ticket ... unless you are not ridin much there MUST have been other cops that have noticed the high bars and not pulled you over ? Some laws are enforced more consistantly than others .. and then there is always the "quota " thing.. I'd take a good look aroundyour areaand talk to guys with high apes to see what if any problems they have had and how often.Thisshould give a better read on the odds of getting pulled over again.Take this as a piece of friendly advicejust to be sure your doin the right thing and that you will not second guess your decision later.
