I could be wrong but I think I see an error on this site? I think it shows the Heritage and Fatboy bars as the same but the Heritage bars are a lot taller than Fatboy. I think they might be close to 12".
I'd be looking at specs on wideglide and heritage because those bars are "everywhere" as take-offs. You might adjust the final height with risers which are pretty cheap. I think the heritage bars might be wider than the wide glide bars but check it out. I have a heritage and a wide glide and they both have a nice rise but I'm getting the heritage bars at a wider measurement.
You can't pull those bars back far enough to get legal just long enough to get past this crisis?
ya guys i pulled the bars back to get close but its really uncomfortable. as for you bobbers i ride everyday 100 miles to goto work and back 4 days a week, and as ive asked around the east valley cops seem to ticket way more than the others here in the valley. and i live in the far east and commute to the far west so im pretty much stuck with these high bar hatin coppers. i apperciate all the concern and help but time has kinda run out on me and i finally found a local stealer with the bars i need. im going to jsut get the down the 3 in i needed to be legal and keep on ridin. thanks again for the help and ideas.
yes sir bobber s, i got sum 10" mini hangers with sum 3" risers so i should be set just need to finish the job and post sum pics. thanks for the help guys.
got the new bars on this past weekend, what a pain that was. mostly cuz i had to this time vs wanting too!!! not to metion when i did it last time it was april and not 4 million degrees here in Az. but its done rides ok just need to get used to the shorter bars, lost about 4in of height to please "The Man" but hopfully i will never have to deal with this again. i'll try and post sum pics
