Default Exhaust ?

Any drawbacks or opinions of D&D's staggerd 2-2 exhaust? V&H just doesn't cover quite enough of the swingarm for me. And the Cobra's, well I can't tell on there speedsters if it covers the dipstick or not. I'm calling them tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

I would also like to know what you find out about the Cobras SJ.. I have considered them as an alternative to the V&Hs'..

I called D&D and Cobra both today. Here's what I got. D&D actually replaced the headpipe, then adds their slipon behind that. So, there isa seem where the two join. Hmm, ugly? Cobra said "the rear pipe comes close to the dipstick. You can unscrew it, then you may have to gently bend the dipstick a little to get it out, but it should come out. Worse case, loosen up the pipes for a littleextra room." WTF!!! Loosen the pipe for a little more room? So, that pretty much eliminates those 2. I guess it's back to V&H and seeing the swingarm, or a 2-1, which I'm still on the fence about. Hope this helps someone.

The Cobras do not require loosening the pipe to get at the dipstick. It does run closebut it is no problem getting it out. They are good pipes, had em on mine since April with no issues.

I've got a 06 FXDCI with theD&D Fat Cat 2n2-1, no issue with dipstick, tip of pipe extends about 3" beyond the swing arm for a good look...has a good sound and you won't have your neighbors throwing bricks at you. If you want to make ears bleed they are not for you. I like the system a lot, but I'm an old fart... what do I know !

Thanks pappy, I'm just not sold on the 2-1. If I do go that route tho, it will for sure be the Fatcat!! Thanks again!
