Mid controls brake pedal pad - such a thing exist?
When I got my D&D Fat Cat I had to lower the brake pedal considerably to clear the rear pipe. Now I find its a little tough to get leverage to get enough pressure on the pedal. Mostly used when tooling around at slow speeds in the clutch friction zone. Tight parking lot turns and the like. So its kinda important.
I think adding some kind of a pad to raise the pedal surface an inch or so would do it, but the one piece pedal/pad has no provision for any kind of pad. Thinking maybe Id have to drill the pedal and get something like a bagger pedal (though not that ridiculously big) on it.

Anyone ever hear of such a thing?
I remember seeing a company out there that makes modular brake pedal levers and peg mounts that offer a ton of adjustability. I dont remember the name though. I think they were call shred pegs?
Interesting. I’ll have a look, however with the odd shape of the “further forward mid” pedal I’m not confident of fitment. I’m half tempted to order a new pedal and have a machine shop flatten the serrations and make a aluminum block to fit the pedal square.
I have a brake pedal pad for that exact same thing. I had it for awhile now. I never used it but it is for the mid control brake lever
Id bet the pedal pad area isnt different. When you get a chance can you post a photo and where you got it! All I see on searches are rubber slip ones and crap for baggers/softails
I can't for the life of me find the company I was looking for. The design was very similar do this MJK bagger setup with the cantilevered toe peg, it just wasn't near as ugly or expensive and it was made for a Dyna.

My 2002 doesn't have ABS so I've always kinda liked that the rear brake pedal is small and tilted down (I have mids as well). It keeps me from over applying the rear brake, I also use organic pads in the rear as well, initial bite in the wet isn't as strong as sintered pads.
