Default External Breather mounting

I am trying to find an external breather and have found a couple
JAZ Products 1-Quart Breather Tank
Jegs Remote Oil Breather Tank

And please don't just say crap like go buy the one from DK customs. i have that and it doesn't work you can find my thread on that issue here.
I am trying to figure out how to mount either one. I am debating between the left side on the frame downtube or next to where the factory horn goes like the design that Moroso uses. Either location would work fine i suppose although i would more prefer the downtube as its out of the way but I'm till unsure how to actually mount it. I can weld so i could fab something up to hold it but i cant figure out how. I tend to overlook the easiest and obvious answers to things so please help with how do i mount this thing.

Looks like the forward downtube would be the only place to mount that quart size one. Painted black hose clamps or maybe modified front fork turn signal mounts might work.

All of the "breather kits" have one thing in common - they vent UNDER the EFI/carb. So what's coming out of the engine? Air and oil. There is a small amount of oil mist exhaled with the air. Now ya got gravity jumping in. Air has no gravity but the oil mist does. So where does gravity take it? Down. Now ya got oil building up in the breather hose. Bad engineering I think. That's why I made my own breather system for my Dyna. Got 2 brass nipple fitting and a T fitting from the hardware store along with some hose. Drilled and tapped (10 & 2 o'clock) the Ness Big Sucker for the fittings and screwed them in. From the big sucker, short hoses over the Mikuni to the T. From the T up and under the tank and seat exiting down in front of the swingarm. No catch can needed AND no goofy **** under the air cleaner. Keep it simple.

Yeah i dono how well a hose clamp would work when clamping around 2 excessively different sized pipes like that though. And the forks are like twice the diameter of the downpipe so i don't think a signal mount would be possible.

I've thought about going up over the top of the carb but i tapped the holes ages ago and i cant exactly plug them and tap new holes since the air cleaner is aluminum and i don't have a TIG welder. Also with the amount of oil that comes out I'm concerned that if i went over the top excess oil could buildup and not have an escape route resulting in bad things happening.

I've did my version of the breather when the 07 Dyna had 32,000 on it. Now with over 104,000 miles on it I can state PROBLEM FREE. ANY oil accumulated in the hose will drain back to the heads.

You can plug your bottom facing holes, with a plug fitting or JB Weld.

I was thinking of putting the catch can on one side of the frame downtube similar to an oil cooler. Both clamps would be on the same tube.

Maybe I'm missing something here but this seems pretty easy to attach a catch-can on a down tube especially since it's been done no doubt countless times, just pick left or right and slap that quart jug on! That seems like one big container though even if it doesn't hold a quart!

I can't imagine ever needing something that big. Like over the life of a bike I can't imagine filling that up. I get about a table spoon every 1,500 miles.

It's not a out the size for filling it up, it's about the size so there is more room for the air to separate from the oil.
If you'd look at the thread I mentioned in the OP you would see I have a fair amount of oil coming out of my current catch can.

I did read that thread and I stand by what I said...I can't imagine needing something that big. Sorry you're having issues but I agree with others who said they think something is wrong.

I hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction either way.
