What year is your bike?
Never mind, I see it's a 2011. I'm not sure the passing lamps would fit without notching the fairing. Have you considered the small LED light bar under the lower triple tree? I run one on my FXR and it makes a world of difference. I will be putting one on my 2006 FXD35 as well. I've also seen people mount small LED fog lights down on the fork tubes as well as down on the frame where the forward controls mount. Just a few options that may require a little fabrication and ingenuity to figure out. The light bar under the lower triple tree is by far the easiest. Just gotta wire it in. Kuryakyn makes a relay and switch kit that works well.

How good are the light bars for focusing the light beam far away for better highway driving? I wouldn't want something that ends up just lighting up objects that are close by.
Not my photos, some that were found on another thread.
Thats deffenetly a good option, but I have the same question like for the liht bar on how good are those type of lights to light up things far away for highway driving and not just for close objects?
Harley passing lamps don't really shine that far. if you go with a light bar just make sure you get something with a spot beam instead of a flood beam.
