Turkey run hooked me up with a free two-up seat for my 07 fxd. Appearantly I need a "seat bumper kit" to install the seat.(p/n 51653-06). What is this? HD doesn't show a photo on their site. It is only seven dollars but I don't have time this week to ride an hour to the dealer and still make it to work on time. Is it just a couple pieces of foam? Something I could just make myself? Thanks.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure its basically a set of rubber feet to protect the fender and give it support. Its probably something you want to put on
its little square rubber feet that are glued on your fender, try to post ya some pics in a few mins
Glued to the fender eh? I don't like the sound of that. I want to be able to switch back to the solo seat without having to look at a rubber mosaic on my fender.
yup thats the problem wtih em i dont know why they didnt glue em to th damn seat!!!!!!
sorry took me sa long had ta go outside and pull th seat back off not a problem since i had it off earlier washin and waxin
yea it pi$$ed me off first time i pulled th seat after i got it,you can put em on th seat no problem th only thing is ,on th bottom of th seat, you can see where theyhave been rubbin it musta got some dust or dirt between them, somethin ta keep in mind if you do glue em to your seat
