Default GRASSHOPPER!

Holy S***does that hurt!
Got hit in the face what felt like a 50 pound grasshopper today. and man did that hurt the gutts went up under my glasses and into my eye. it was justa matter of time,I have had them hit me in the chest before, but that is nothing like below the eye.
What are some of the things other fourm members have been hit with while riding?

Rock from a tire of a passing car. Luckily it hit me in the chest instead of the head! We were only doing about 50 each, but it HURT!! Left a BIG ol' bruise to awhile too! Bugs in the head, but I wear pretty tight fitting glasses to try and prevent what happened to you.

I've taken a few good hits before. It just always happens so fast, I can never identify them. Tha's gross that the guts got under your glasses and into your eye. [:-]

Had that happen to me too. Not a grasshopper. But the bug was big and the gooey stuff that was red like blood got up into my right eye. Had to remove my glasses while I was riding to clean out my eye and wiped it on my jeans. Of course my right lens on my riding glasses was smeared and had to ride that way until I could find a place to pull into to clean it up. Yeah, it was messy alright.

I rode through a swarm of bees once. Only got stung once but hit a bunch of them. The sting was right at the armpit on my left arm. Dang bee got in under my vest.

Got hit by a vulture eating a dead critter on the side of the road... it took flight and came right at me from the right. I had to kick it like a football as I was riding...Hey, it was going for the bike! It exploded and my boot had a good dent in it afterwards...The smell was..awful...I have beenhit with a june bug in the neck at speed, thatwas another knee slapping good time. lol Love Bug season in Mississippi would be way funfor anyone that loves gut splatter. They get bad enough to where you have to stop and clean your shield, as in I can't see through it anymore...
