Default Chrome Hand control kit

Anyone been able to locate an aftermarket Chrome Hand Control Kit for the 07's? I have been looking and looking and cannot seem to find this item. HD wants 519.00 for this kit and I just can't bring myself to pay this price. Pre 07 kits are going for aaroun 139.00+

have you looked into the cost of having your stock controls chromed? Thats what a lot of the "joe blow" parts guys out there do.. they have stock take offs chromed and then turn them around to guys like us. usually a lot cheaper than new. My guess would be there are just not a lot of '07 take offs yet.. to create the supply that is.

Are your current controls that much different from previous years? I dont know that much about the 07s... I have never researched them... but I changed out both sides withchromed switch boxes and the clamp portions that hold the levers out on my 06 lowrider with a kit I got from Drag specialties.. that fits previous years back to the 90s... They shouldnt have changed all tha much. Be advised though most of the kits dont come with the chromed buttons, you will have to buy those separately.

I have also seen some pretty decent switch housing kits on Flea bay too... that are reasonably priced.

I did my controls this weekend and have a 07 FXDC. I got all my parts from http://www.easternperformance.com/ , Keep in mind that the reservoir cover set is composed of clutch and brake lever clamps and also comes with a cover for the brake reservoir. It doesn’t look bad but it’s not a chrome reservoir just a cover. Takes some patience putting all this stuff together, it took me a few hours and beers to install

Harley CHrome Switch Caps XL, Dyna, ST, FLHR: Part# 71804-03 $15.25

Kuryakyn Handlebar Reservoir Cover Set for Single Disc: Part # 9126 $69.95

Kuryakyn Chrome Switch Housing Set ’96-’05 Harle: Part# 9149 $62.95
