I have a 2010 fxd that I have installed HD foot boards (same as a fld). I would like to install a Supertrapp Bootlegger exhaust. Supertrapp tells me the bootlegger designed for a Dyna won’t work due to the foot boards. I’d like to know if I can install the Bootlegger exhaust for a bagger or for a soft tail by modifying the support bracket. Thanks in advance for any help.

What's the problem? Super Trap says it won't fit with floorboards . . . so MAKE IT FIT. It's called FABRICATION. Other alternative (if ya can't fabricate) is take off the floorboards.

Yeah, I get that. I know I’ll need to, at least, fabricate a bracket and I’ve no problem with that. What I’m asking is has anyone done this and which of the three Bootlegger, very different, designes will come closest to fitting my application?
