Only softail I care for is the custom. But who cares? Its your decision. As long as its a Harley is all that counts. Cept for one of them rolling sofa's. LOL

2nd that. I bought a bike keep it for a few months and had 5000 miles on it. I took it back and traded. I got in a hurry and tried not to spend the money for the bike I really wanted at 1st. It was right when the bikes 1st come out, there wern't many new bikes even at the dealerships and I had a fever for a bike now.
It takes a little time to ride a bike and look at the length, height and the way the bike is set up. No one bike will do everything. I'd like to have 2 or 3 if I could afford them and had a place to put them and could upkeep them. I chose my scooter for the all around capability of the bike and the style of riding I do most.
dyna-nile thats funny i like the looks of the fatbob seat height for me was a concern since my legs are kinda short compared to my upperbody.
my baby is in for warrenty work today the chrome on the primary messed up so tehya re replacing it for free. I hope they call in the next couple of hours so i can ride it tonight.
did i mention the wife helped to decided ont eh fatboy since she makes the payments?
Me personally,I like that front tire shakin at the street light and makin people grin,I also like the way my wife digs the vibration on my Lowrider too. I rented a softail in Louisiana and it was 96 compared to my 88 and my 88 would smoke that softie from light to light all day. It was nice to start it up and drive right off compared to my carb..a little warm up time. I always liked Fatboys when I didnt own a Harley but I bought a Lowrider and rented a Fatboy and I would skip the Fatboy now.I myself would go to a Roadking stripped down to resemble my Dyna now.Unbalanced motor, still got that rumble, nice dresser for long rides.Besides without a rumble mights well not be a Harley.
Interesting that this question was on the board. I was at the dealer today looking for a new bike. The sales guy told me that softtails are much than dynas. Was trying to sell me a Deuce. Think he is stuck with several 07 Dueces. I still like the FXDC. Am tired of the softails. Will have to change my name though!! He he!!
