2010 FXDC. Decided to update front lights with running lights. Bought a pair of led signals with running lights, 3 wire, ground, running lights, turn signals. Found the blue wires for DOM bikes. Running lights (weakest light) work fine only when turn signal wire isn't connected. If connected, running lights + turn signals go dark. Seems a kind of short circuit, yet ground is working fine. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help.
Well there is your problem... lights from Aliexpress.
best thing you can do is throw those things away, chock it up to a lesson learned about ordering straight from China. And then go get the real deal from custom dynamics.

How are you connecting these lights to the electrical harness?
Through front blinkers harness. Blue (both sides) for running lights, black (both sides) for ground, other two, different color each side, for blinkers.
How exactly did you make the connections to the bike`s electrical harness?
Did you cut into the main harness?
Wires where probably cut by previous owner. So I connected led wires to ground and blinker wire. Blue wire (running lights) is not connected because once it gets connected both lights, blinkers and running lights go off.
