Default CV carb question

Ok hopefully someone can help me here: If I turn the air/fuel mixture screw in all the way and it doesn’t make the bike stumble at idle/change idle, does that mean the idle jet is too big?

What size is your idle jet?

It's a 2000 and stuff does wear out. Check the idle mixture screw packing. If that O ring seal is bad you'll never get the mixture adjusted right.

thanks @TexasScooterTrash I'm betting you're correct. I'm not sure I ever took that mixture screw out. Guess I better take a look!

Looks like you were correct @TexasScooterTrash , found that my carb had the mixture screw, spring and o-ring, but is missing the flat washer. I got an ez adjust mixture screw on order from CV Performance along with new packing pieces.

ok, so I got the new mixture screw and small bits in there and still couldn’t get the bike to “stumble” at idle while turning the screw in from 2 turns out. Then I swapped the slow jet out that was a 46 to a 45 and it still won’t stumble. Seems like something is wrong?

Manifold air leak? Up until this point was running OK?
