I have a question because I’m OCD… Do I need to replace my rear seat mount Receiving nut, my rear has a huge gap between the fender and the seat clip… Is it wore out? Or am I just stuck with this gap…
What bike do you have? And without pics, it's hard to see the gap, or anything else.
I can’t do pictures on my phone for some reason, the gap is between the fender and the seat clip, the bracket it’s actually mounted to the seat… I think I figured it out, I need to bore the bracket out a little… The receiving that is a little wider than the bracket itself… If any of that makes sense lol

No, but, IIRC, the nut has a shoulder on it that's supposed to fit in the hole of the bracket, so, if your gap is small, like 1/16" or so, that's probably the problem. You said "huge gap"...
