Default Losing engine power

I have a 2014 Streetbob, stock engine, V&H Fuelpak, Basseng Roadrage and joker aircleaner.
i was doing approx 50mph, when I all of a sudden lost engine-power...somewhat. Like the engine just got very little fuel/air, but was working. Can do idle, and I can drive it, but I doesnt like too much throttle.
this first happened in 5th gear. Shiftet to 4th, and tried to pick up speed, but the same happend.

Just prior to this, the red dot/light came on in the dash. This is normaly for those with alarm, but mine doesnt have alarm.

Can anyone send their good ideas/advice on this?

Best,
Kurt

Check for fault codes if the red light came on.

Sounds like fuel pressure. Maybe a hole in the tank's fuel line or clogged filter.

I have to check that. Thanks! No visible gas-leaks though.

Best,
Kurt

Just cleared fault-codes (blinkers) and tested again without doing any other changes. Revs, runs and works as good as always...
Leaving me wondering what happened yesterday.

I believe Nevil is referring to a line leaking INSIDE the fuel tank
Common problem

One thing you can try is to push up on the fuel line connector at the tank. The connection can wear and the valve in the tank fitting close off..

It is likely fuel pressure tho.

I could be wrong but doubt that.. Generally it's a weak magnet. The motor has trouble starting when hot.
