My bike ( 2012 FXDC ) seems to have changed its characteristics . That's the only way I can describe it . It just doesn't feel as smooth as it did the last time I rode it and the exhaust seems louder and less harmonious than before . Performance isn't markedly different but I kind of feel as if I'm wringing the throttle a bit more than usual . I've just been on a long run so all I've been able to do is a visual inspection . Nothing had fallen off that I can see . My Sportster used to do this from time to time but that was thirsty for oil and used to perk up when I put new plugs in . Any ideas ?
New plugs and fresh fuel , check the air cleaner ( maybe something made a nest in there ) 🤔
Thanks for the one and only response . Fuel is always fresh because the bike is ridden regularly and the filter was cleaned recently . I haven't pulled the plugs yet but I've ordered some new ones . I'll do an inspection of the leads and try to check out the engine mounting system bolts . Hope this sorts it out because if it's injector related I'm in uncharted territory .
Raspiness in the exhaust can be an indication of a lean running engine. Similarly a lack of power but might be an ill performing exhaust. An air leak in the intake or a leak in the exhaust.

Start your bike in the dark and watch the plug wires for leaks.
That I will do . I had a much worse issue on my Sportster that turned out to be leads related. The engine was jumping around running on one cylinder . The issue with the Dyna is not so severe .
