Do you have a grinding wheel? Thread a nut on the bolt up 1/8". Grind the protrusion off and restore the threads by unscrewing the nut.
I do and I've cut bolts before, just not an ARP "super hardened super bolt", know what I mean? I just need to make sure I have a fresh cutoff wheel and I should be good. It's just a 1/4" bolt anyway so shouldn't be a problem.
