Installed 7" headlight on my FXD, (its beautiful and lights up the road)! I HIGHLY recommend junking the crap stock BS lamp and move to 7" LED (5400 lumen high-beam / 3600 lumen low-beam)!!! I can see clearly now!!! ***NOTE*** oil spots are from my '06 Jeep (next to the bike) but NOT my HD (first bike that doesn't leak)!

Thanks man! I love my dyna, well ALL dynas! This is my 15th Harley (and my 8th, 9th, or 10th dyna), I don't remember anymore over the last 30 years, but I have had them all. Once I had it on my Fatboy, the huge 7" lamp, I had to replicate it to all future bikes (including my latest FXD - this one). I just wasn't sure how it would come out on the FXD frame from past issues with frame sizing and the larger lamp, but it came out nicely and I love it!

When did HD move away from the "eyebrow" head light on the Super Glides? I had an 02 and an 05 Super Glide. I know the 02 had an eyebrow and I'm almost positive the 05 had one too.

I honestly don't know, mine came with the bottom mount '07. I hate the one you refer to and always removed it on every bike, shovel, FX, or otherwise.

I'm pretty sure that they dropped the eyebrow for the 2006 model when they first released the dynas with the updated frame and forks.
Mr. Groovy: the bike looks nice. I'd like to see a pic from the front with that new headlight. Also, what part of NYC? My wife grew up in Brooklyn but has been here in New Mexico for 40 years now.
