I experienced the same issue one time a few years ago. I just used a little bit of punctuation and that seemed to fix the problem.

Maybe it makes me a dick, but whatever. Why do these new guys come here and post word-vomit like that? It seems disrespectful.

I suggest you try to figure out why the ignition doesn't fire until you let off the starter button...

The easier it is for folks to figure out what you're trying to say, the more likely you'll get a good answer.

I'll try to explain what is going on in laymans terms the fluxcapacitor has malfunctioned this is probably due to the change to daylight savings time which expotntionally changes the polarity of the fluxcapacitior unfortunately it can not be reversed once it's polarity has reversed so you now have a seasonal motorcycle that will only start normally by pressing and holding the starter button in until the engine starts on standard time as for a fix to correct the current situation I would suggest you check the handlebar control starter button with a multimeter to make sure the button contacts are not burned up from all the arcing going on inside of the switch be sure to also check the starter relay in the rare event that the starter switch or starter relay is bad you can simply ignore the fluxcapacitor.
