It seems like the Superglide is treated like the bastard stepchild of the Dyna line when it comes to HD and aftermarket accessories, so.... I'm looking at changing out the stock HL/visor combination and have found there are virtually no options specifically for the SG models other than a replacement chrome HL bucket.

My question is, has anyone changed their stock FXD or earlier model LowRider HL out for one that bolts to the lower triple tree like on the Soft Tails and Wide Glides? I know there'll have to be a hole drilled in the lower aluminum tree, but that doesn't bother me. If anyone's done this and can PM me or post a couple of pictures here, it would be much appreciated.

I know what you mean. I already have the auxillary running lights installed, not so much for looks, but for the extra light to help the bike get seen during the day and for night riding. I'm just thinking that another HL style would look kind of different also.

Drilled the lower tree wired the light in no problem but look what this started, (so far I think the only thing I have not touched is the headlight)

1- What year is your 'Glide?
2- Which HL did you end up using.
3- Any close-up photos you can post?
