so after letting my bike sit for a few weeks in my garage while i was working on maching up a new fairing i have a no crank no start condition where i dont have power going to my speedo i have no tail light/brake lights, no turn signals , no fuel pump, and none of the bar switches work, but the headlight works and i tried a new different ignition switch and that didnt fix anything. lost on what could cause this and want to get it back on the road before one if my favorite youtubers comes into town and does a group ride.
It's reading 12v on the gauge and I got it on the trickel charger, I tried a charged battery from myy dad's 04 heratige softail that was charged and it had the same problem
12 volts is low. After you charge it up, get it load tested. You want to eliminate the battery as an issue before you start buying any more expensive parts.

You need a meter. 12.0 volts is 0% state of charge. A fully charged "12 volt" battery is 12.6 volts at 98% state of charge and 12.8 volts at 100%.
Troubleshooting is fault isolation by systematic means. I can't really tell why you did the things you've done so far, but I suggest a multimeter. I have a suspicion you have a loose wire somewhere or a very large blown fuse.
How did you come to that conclusion without any troubleshooting?
Have you checked any fuses?
You say you were matching up a new fairing, tell us what was involved.
ive been trouble shooting things getting advice froma dyna fb group but i tried another battery that had enough power before and after to start my dads twincam softail, checked all my fuses and they had no corrosion and all had continuity, my bike doesn't have a fob so it cand be a bad fob and ive been checking other things too gonna go over all my grounds today. with my new fairing i removed my headlight and trees and replaced my trees with some aftermarket trees from geezer glide trees. its one of those fxrt fairings that clamps onto your neck tube and none of the wires got pinched while installing but ill take some pics and a video to show whats happening, what lead me to think its a bcm is that another member in the group was telling me that he thought it was the bcm and the more i think about it that seems more likely to me because it was a failure with the switches or a low battery id have tail/brake likes and my gauges would try to light up.
