Whats the value of the CV? I have no use for it now so figured id throw it up for sale (any takes?). Want to be as fair as possible since it treated me well and.. we're all friends here.
CV Carb + manifold (choke, breather tube, all the goods).

if it is really clean $100+ would not be unreasonable on eBay
A few years back in my Shovelhead era, I sold a surplus CV for $100 on eBay. It had been modified with a pressed-on, flanged manifold adapter to mate up with the Shovelhead intake manifold. A clean one should be worth $50 to $100 on eBay.
Seeing that Don has already wrenched on the carburetor and couldn't get it to work properly I figure it is worth about $10. Hopefully he is honest about why he is selling it.
About 6 or 7 years ago, I bought a carb for my '92 from a carb rebuild service. He said he had a correct year and part number newer "take off" piece and would rebuild it and set it up for my application (pipes, air cleaner, Ignition) he charged me around $120.00 and the carb looked brand new! it ran as good as new too. He gave me new intake and manifold/carb seals, and I think shipping was about 12-15 dollars. It was exactly what I needed when I needed it. I would do it again.
Inflate the prices for todays market and throw in the Bidenomics modifier. If your carb needs work to run properly, it is worth a lot less. OEM CV manifolds are getting harder to find in good condition. I have seen some pretty banged up ones. They are now making repops. Prices may vary.
