49mm Forks on early Dyna.

Just put 49mm tripple trees on my 2001 Dyna Lowrider. The steering stops on the bottom tree just nearly slide under the block on the frame. Anyone come across this before?

Well the 49mm forks went on the NEW 2006 Dyna FRAME. Not a good fork stop?? Take off the trees and weld a small stop extension on it.

The steering stem bearing's outer race cup sits farther up into the 06-later (49mm) frame Neck ... so the 49mm trees "sit" lower when installing on an earlier frame.

Be careful of hitting your tank with 49mm tree/tube without modification
