Security light indicator comes on while riding.

Security light indicator comes on while riding.
Good morning all. I have a 2009 Superglide custom. Yesterday I was out for a ride and all of a sudden my security light indicator comes on while I was riding. Any suggestions on how that happen. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

That happened to me too. Unfortunately I was traveling with friends and had to stop a Dealer since I didn't want it to shut down or anything. Had to remove my pack and all my gear so they could check it out. Everyone waited (and shopped). They had to re flash it. Never happened again since.

When my 07 and wife's 09 do that I change the fob battery and it stops. In cold weather if I put my fob in the windshield bag it'll do it but when I pocket the fob it'll stop.
I've just suspected bad coms between the fob and the receiver due to a weak or cold battery.
