Default 2001 Dyna Wide Glide seat
I got a 2001 Dyna Wide Glide and i was wanting to put a step up seat onto it. I was looking at making a custom one through saddlemen but the website says it fits all other models except the wide glide. is this true? i figured all the dynas were pretty much the same through those years except for a few small differences. any help is appreciated, thanks!

All model Dyna seats do not fit the same.

Lepera probably does, they have several step up toes.

The Rear holddown bolt hole (in fender) is in a different spot on the WG. Slightly more rearward.

Save the money and buy a C&C seat. They make one similar to the step up. I have a step up from Saddlemen and I wouldn't order it again or spend the money I did on it.

anyway i could modify the seat bracket to make the seat fit? in other words the seat fits but can’t be probably mounted because of the seat bracket?
