2000 fxdl noise
My first bike and I love it. I’m trying to determine if the bike sounds like it’s running good or has some issues going on. I’ve had a few people tell me it sounds like something is wrong. It has a gear drive cam, adjustable pushrods and has been bored out. Beyond that idk. I am not by any means a mechanic but I am trying to learn and fix the bike myself if it’s not something to major. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

If it has a tach, bump up the idle rpm to 950-1000 rpm. I have a 2002 FXD, cam chain drive with a 95" kit in it, to me in the few seconds of sound on video can't tell much. HD originally was going to put gears in the twin cams but EPA killed that because the gear drive was too noisy.

The video doesn't work for me. Record a longer video. Post it on YouTube and then post the link in your thread. Describe what the noise is so we know what to listen for.
