Default Wide Glide +4 extensions
Thinking about doing +4 extensions on a 2011 wide glide, if I do it I would probably go to a 23" front wheel with no fender as well.

Is a kit like this all you need to do it? Thanks guys.

It's +4 on the FXD not WG

You are right I see that now. I guess someone probably makes a +4 for the wide glide. any ideas?

Look up stock tube lengths on both models, may be interchangeable if the tube dia. is the same.

Those should work.

Be aware that instead of 4" over they may be more like 4-1/2" to 4-5/8" over compared to your year of WG tubes.

Yep, those will be 4" over (give or take) from your stock setup. Custom Cycle Engineering is another source, that's where I got mine.

Thanks. Your bike looks great. Beside the fork tubes and a seal kit, is there any other parts needed to do it? I read something about putting some 4" spacers somewhere.

If I remember right the fork tubes came with the necessary spacers. I think they're just PVC pipe.

Bumping this thread up for a related question.

If I get the extended tubes for the wide glide. Should I get a lowering kit for the front at the same time? Or leave the stock springs?
