Default handle bars for Dyna

Hello,
Looking to buy new handlebars and seeing a wide range of prices and brands out there. Looking for recommendations that are not OEM.
Thanks in advance!

We're gonna need some more details. Style preference? Which model/year do you have? Do you want bars that won't require any new cables or wiring? Apes? Drag bars? Z bars?

I like mini apes, personally.

The OEM mini apes on my 07 Dyna are very comfortable and no issues. I cleaned up the front end look by running the control harnesses through the bars. My 1977 XLH 1000 has the OEM Buckhorn bars. Control harnesses through the bars also. I subscribe to the KISS principle . . . Keep It Simple Stupid.

It is a matter of personal preference of course, what kind of riding position you like and also what you want your bike to look like.

Personally I prefer bars that put my hands at shoulder height, and I also like my bars narrow, I find it more comfortable and it makes it easier to clear car mirrors when splitting lanes.

I run 10" high drag bars, bought them from Lowbrow Customs, they were only 109 usd i think. I have cut a few inches at the ends, they are 20" wide.

I have also replaced the rubber mounting bushings with solid aluminium ones. This and the fact that the bars are welded in one piece gives a very nice and solid feeling and no vibrations.

I'm 5'10, if you are taller you will probably want taller bars.

Thanks, all. I’m asking if $100 set of bars from TCMT or MX-T are as good a quality as bars that are 2-3x more money.

I would say no.

But I'm not basing that on any real data.

The cheapest 'quality' bars I have ever seen were in the ~$150 range, and I think those were sale price.

But you never know! If you buy, post up so others know the options.

I have the Speed Kings 12" pull backs and have been really happy with them.

My T-bars were $120 from Lowbrow Customs, quality is excellent.
