Default Rocker Cover Replacement

Tried searching in the forums and couldn't find a clear answer. 2007 FXDB. I'm currently replacing my motor with a takeout from another bike (touring) because my top end was pooched and i got a great deal on the takeout. I'm doing cams before I put it in and want to powdercoat the rocker covers. The covers on the new motor are chrome, and the chrome is in excellent shape so I have a buddy who wants to run them. The new motor is out of a 2010, so I can either run the rocker covers from my 07 or from my buddies 04. My question is fitment. The part numbers are not the same BUT i think the only difference is that they're chrome instead of polished. On Ronnies, for the rocker cover, my bike has PN "17575-99 ROCKER COVER, POLISHED" and the 2010 has PN " 17572-99 ROCKER COVER (CHROME)". Any models with a wrinkle black cover also have a different part number. Are these covers interchangeable despite different part numbers or do I need to use the ones that are currently on it?

Yes, all Twin Cam engine rocker covers interchange. Simple as that

Cubby, I see you checked at Ronnies for the Part Numbers, great site! For future reference to interchange check the Gasket Part Number.
