I personally use the one from DK Customs. I have had several of the others break off going down the road. I think you could pick the bike up with the one from DK. It is very solid.
Bulldog, that's the same license plate mount bracket that I put on my 2000 FXDWG WideGlide. It's 1/8" thick plate mount and 5/32" axel bracket. It's solid.
It's hard to see in this picture but, it's there. No plate hanging from the rear fender !
